Joseph R. "Joe" Priester

Joseph R. "Joe" Priester 67, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026 at his home.

He was born on April 13, 1959 in Rimersburg, PA; the son of Joseph H. and Cora Mae (Anthony) Priester.

Joe attended Union High School and worked for nearly 30 years as a truck driver. He was a true Ford man, car and truck enthusiast, and he had a special love for Mack Trucks. Joe enjoyed listening to country music, gathering with family for cookouts, and sharing stories about his childhood. He was a wonderful dad, stepdad, and grandfather who cherished his family dearly.

His memory will be cherished by his wife of over 30 years, Diane L. (Davis) Priester; daughter, Melissa S. (David) Goodman of New Bethlehem, sons, Robert L. Ashbaugh, Jr of Clarion, Shane P. (Nichole) Davis of Rimersburg, and Peter J. Davis of Sligo; and 15 grandchildren, Brandon "Buggy", Kayla "Kbear", Cassidy, Mariah, Madison, Zane, Trent, Aleah, Cameron, Audrina, Autumn, Tanner, Conner, Maggie, and Emberly.

Joe is also survived by his sister, Charlotte (Terry) McQueeney of Sligo; sister-in-law Darlene Priester; brother-in-law, Bob Fenstermaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Amanda D. Stemmerich who passed April 2025, a brother, William O. Priester, and sisters, LuAnne McIntire, Debbie L. Fenstermaker, and Ellen M. Priester.

Funeral services will be held privately.
