John W. Yoder, Sr.
John W. Yoder, Sr., 77, of Parker, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 17, 1947, in Maple Grove, PA, the son of Archie and Louise (Watterson) Yoder.
John was a U.S. Army Veteran who honorably served during the Vietnam Era in Germany. He was affiliated with the Church of God Prophecy and worked as a truck driver. John enjoyed reading; watching NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers, History channel, and S.B.N. "Occasionally" he liked to scratch a lottery ticket. He treasured the time spent with his family and was very proud of his sons and grandchildren. He loved his daily visits from his fur grandbabies Marley and Big Red and his special dog, Cozmo, who could always be found by his side.
His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Carole (Kriebel) Yoder; two sons, John W. "Poke" Yoder and wife, Candace, of Parker, and James P. "Jamie" Yoder of Rimersburg; three grandchildren, Colben Yoder, Isaac Yoder, and Drew Bowser and husband, Luke; four great-grandchildren, Carson, Rylan, Elias, and Quinn; sister, Jill Blair and husband, Dave, of Erie PA; and two lifelong friends, Bob and Dickie.
John was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marcy Yoder, brother, James L. Yoder, and sister, Nancy McNaughton.
Friends and family will be received from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11AM at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025 with Pastor Dale Gallo, where military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 454 and VFW Post 7132.
Interment will be in Sligo Cemetery, Sligo, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Clarion Cancer Center, 1 Hospital Drive, Clarion, PA 16214.
