Helen M. Bearfield

Helen M. Bearfield, 78, of Curllsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025 at Shippenville Nursing and Rehab in Shippenville, PA.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1947 in Clarion PA, the daughter of James O. Best and Martha H. (Shook) Best.

Helen graduated from Clarion High School. She was a devoted lifelong member of the Grace Community Church in Curllsville. She participated in many activities with the church including mission trips and singing in the choir. Helen held a strong and unwavering belief in her Lord and Savior.

Helen was the owner of Helen's Helping Hands where she worked as a massage therapist. She enjoyed helping others through her massage therapy. She also drove school bus for many years, touching countless lives along the way. An animal lover at heart, Helen enjoyed watching birds and reading, and will be lovingly remembered for her wonderful smile and unforgettable hugs.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Jasen E. Best of Curllsville; daughter, Katie Bearfield and companion, Nate Boltz of Rimersburg; and grandchildren, Hailey Best, Jaxen Boltz and Brielle Boltz.

Helen is also survived by her brothers, James Best and wife, Betty of Sewickley and David Best and wife Patty of Bow, NH; and sisters, Connie Mannke and husband Joe and Ceila Ravkind and husband Ronny, all of Houston, TX.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will be received from 10 AM on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 until the time of Memorial Service at 11 AM the Grace Community Church, 3225 Curllsville Rd, Sligo, PA 16255 with Pastor Tim Shimmons officiating.

Interment will be in Churchville Cemetery in Curllsville, PA.
