Marie Stineman

Marie Stineman 87, of Shelocta, PA passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at her home.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1938 in Indiana, PA; the daughter of Lloyd and Florence (Brown) Helman.

Marie was a member of the United Church of Christ in South Bend. She was employed with PNC Bank and was the secretary for South Bend Township. Marie loved playing cards, golfing and spending winters in Florida with Milton. She enjoyed diamond painting; cross-stitching and her famous "Mama Gobs" were always a family favorite. Marie loved creating homemade cross-stitch Christmas stocking for everyone in family.

Her memory will be cherished by loving husband, Milton L. Stineman, whom she married on May 23, 1959; daughters, Mary Ann Rohleder and husband, Mark of Campbellsville, KY and Patricia Stoker and husband, Mark of Shelocta; daughter-in-law, Dawn Stineman; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Marie is also survived by her brother Thomas Helman and her sister, Lois Sokol.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, James Milton Stineman.

Friends and family will be received from 11 AM until the time of services at 2 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
