Kathryn A Yori

Kathryn Ann Yori, 65, of Clarion, PA, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 at Clarion Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1959 in Widnoon, PA, the daughter of Bernard and Martha (Whitmore) Hornberger.

Kathryn found joy in caring for her dogs, chickens, and ducks, but her greatest happiness always came from the time she spent with her family. She was a wonderful cook, known for preparing meals that were made with love. Kathryn also had a free spirit and loved the thrill of riding motorcycles.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughters, Kayla J. Turteltaub and husband Julian of Knox and Lindsey S. Yori of New Bethlehem; granddaughter, Abigail Facciani and fiancé, Donavan Edmonds; brother, Frederick Hornberger of Poconos, PA; her companion, Jay Campbell of Clarion; and her grand-puppies, Rusty and Rocky.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband James Joseph Yori, whom she married on Sept. 28, 1979 and who passed away on Oct. 28, 2000; brothers, Daniel Hornberger and Richard Hornberger; and sisters, Nancy Lee Hornberger, Patty L. Johnston and Carole Maney.

Services will be private.
