Donna Lee Traister

Donna Lee Traister, 76, of Worthington, PA, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024 at her home.

She was born on June 18, 1947 in Kittanning, PA; the daughter of Roy and Katherine (Houser) Lauster.

Donna was a 1965 graduate of Kittanning High School then worked at Big River Manufacturing. She retired from Erdley's Personal Care Home as a caretaker. Donna enjoyed dancing, singing Karaoke, going out to eat with friends, and visiting with family and friends. She liked to spend time on her computer connecting with people on Facebook. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, Whisky. Donna will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her love of talking to everybody.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Melvin "Glenn" Traister, whom she married on June 17, 1978; son, Scott R. Traister and wife, Darlene, of Kittanning; daughter, Regina L. McNerney of Winston Salem, NC; six grandchildren, Lauren M. McNerney, Ryan J. McNerney, Sean P. McNerney, Derek S. Traister, Cadielynn A. Traister, and Allysha Goodgasell; and four great-grandchildren, Jocelynn Walker, Lynnelee Yough, Jeffrey Clayton Gallimore, and Donnie Stroupe, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog, Yukon.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the funeral home with Rev. Craig R. Lindahl officiating.

Interment will be in Tidal Union Cemetery, Templeton, PA.
