Teresa Joan (Costanzo) Krizmanich

Teresa Joan (Costanzo) Krizmanich of Kittanning, 96 passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Teresa was born in Washington Twp., Armstrong County, PA on December 6, 1926 to Michael and Adaline (Cichitano) Costanzo.

Teresa was a former resident of Kittanning where she spent most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was employed as a teacher's assistant at a Day Care Nursery School in Pittsburgh for a number of years. In her later years, she worked as a nurse's aide at the Armstrong County Health Center.

Teresa is survived by three sons, Francis Krizmanich and wife Betsy of Snow Mass, CO, Matt T. Krizmanich of Kittanning and S. Michael Krizmanich and wife Krista of Fairview Park, OH; four daughters, Monica Peterson of Canal Winchester, OH, Anne Shepard and husband Larry of Kittanning, Maria Krizmanich of Cape May, NJ, Judith Krizmanich of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lana Costanzo of Beachwood, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, John, Lewis, Victor, Tony, Joseph and two infant brothers, Joseph, and William Costanzo; and six sisters, Ann Costanzo, Kate Palermo, Lena Yantos, Rose Balitski, Mary Costanzo, and Millie Keller.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. as celebrant.

Interment is at Kittanning Cemetery, Rayburn Twp., Armstrong County, PA.
