Connie LeJean McCullough
Connie LeJean McCullough, 84, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Clarion Hospital with her family by her side.Born in Lawsonham on November 6, 1940, she was the youngest child of John and Anna Mae Crissman. Connie moved with her family from Lawsonham to Rimersburg as a young girl.
In her own words, she "chased" her future husband while he was serving in the Navy aboard a ship in the Mediterranean. She convinced a mutual friend to write to Jim and ask him to write to her. Their love story began there and was sealed on December 1, 1962. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage.
Connie worked as a bank teller in Rimersburg for 28 years. She began her career with First Seneca Bank and continued through several transitions, retiring from Northwest Savings Bank. Most will remember Connie as the friendly face at the drive-thru window.
Connie came to know the Lord at the young age of eight. Sharing the gospel of Christ was a lifelong mission for her. Just this past summer, as she was being taken to the hospital, she led one of the paramedics in the ambulance to the Lord. Connie was a devoted member of Cornerstone Church of Clarion.
She will be fondly remembered by her husband, Jim; their children, Mike (Tammy) McCullough and Alicia (Jeff) Eisenman; and grandchildren, Emily, Evan, and Elliott Eisenman, and Jon and Sarah McCullough.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jim Crissman of Lowellville, Ohio, and Shirley Tremba of Hubbard, Ohio.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.
Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2-3 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3 PM at Cornerstone Church of Clarion, 3655 E End Road, Shippenville, PA, with Reverend Joshua Easlon officiating.
Interment will be in Rimersburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Connie's memory to the Rimersburg Veterans Memorial Park, PO Box 705, Rimersburg, PA.
