Nancy Walker Graff

Nancy Walker Graff, 90, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Heritage Meadows Personal Care Home in Kittanning.

She was born April 16, 1932 in Worthington, PA, the daughter of Frank H. and Ruth E. (Kepple) Walker.

Nancy grew up in Worthington, PA. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Slippery Rock State Teachers College. Nancy loved working as a 4th grade teacher with Ford Cliff Elementary in Armstrong School District. While working in the small four-teacher school, she married her husband, Peter Graff IV. The first year of their marriage, they spent the entire summer in Europe, traveling over 13 countries. Ten years later, they welcomed their only child, John who accompanied them on their adventures. In 1981, they bought a condo on the beach in Fort Myers, FL where Nancy and Peter enjoyed their winters.

Nancy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kittanning. She belonged to the Kittanning Garden Club, the ACMH Women's Auxiliary, Friday Night Crew, and volunteered at Kittanning Library.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, John F. Graff IV and wife, Candace of Kittanning; grandchildren, Emily Winifred Graff, Ella Francis Graff, and Jake Walker Graff; and a sister, Paula Feger and husband, Gene of Spring, TX.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Peter Graff IV, whom she married on Feb. 1, 1958 and who passed away on July 30, 2017; and her sisters, Jean W. Flick and Patricia L. Joyce.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 218 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, with the Rev. Carl A. Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery, Worthington, PA.
