Timmy L. Mills

Timmy Lynn Mills, 71, of Worthington, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 11, 1950 in Kittanning, PA, to Roy A. and Annabelle (Fiscus) Mills.

Tim was a 1968 graduate of Elderton High School. He retired in Nov. 2021 as a dispatcher with Rosebud Mining. He was very active in the church where he was head of the Worship Committee and chairman of the Church Council. He was a member of the Vision Quartet where he sang bass for 15 years.

Tim was an avid hunter; he enjoyed trap shooting, loved classic cars and spending his winters in Florida with his wife, Linda. Family was his number one priority and he was a second dad to his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Tim will be lovingly remembered for living big and always working on a project.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Linda (Flick) Mills; his daughter, Jennica Mills and partner, Nick Marzec of Pittsburgh; his step-son, Michael Moyer and wife, Tami of Tuscola, IL; grandchildren, Kylie Amick, Caylen Moyer and Kyra Moyer; and great-grandson, Henry Coe. Timmy is also survived by his brothers, Edward Mills and wife, Peggy of Ocala, FL, Robert Mills and wife, Penny of Kittanning, and Richard Mills and wife, Peggy of Kittanning; sisters, Margaret Rowan of Elderton, Betty Wright of Ford City, Shirley Smith of Kittanning; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Justin Roy Mills; brother, James Mills; and a sister, Janet Moyer.

Family and friends will be received 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the First Church of God, Vision Hill Worship Center, 13374 U.S. Route 422, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the First Church of God, Vision Hill Worship Center, Kittanning, with Rev. Nick Wilson officiating.

Interment will be in Christ Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
