Betty Jane Ross

Betty Jane Ross, 95, of Kittanning, PA formerly of Rural Valley, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at Melody Manor in Kittanning, PA.

She was born Oct. 21, 1926 in Hawthorne, PA to Everett and Irene (Hiles) Beatty.

Betty loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching game shows.

Betty Jane is survived by her grandchildren, Richard Robert Ross, Jr. of Levittown, Randi Renee Ross and Ryan Raymond Ross both of Morrisville, PA; and her nephews, David Shoop and wife, Linda of Kittanning, Les Shoop and wife, Marsha of Sarver and daughter in law Nancy Ross of Morrisville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Thomas Ross; her son, Richard Robert Ross, Sr.; and her sister, Margaret Beatty Shoop.

Services will be private.
