Mary Ellen McCullough

Mary Ellen McCullough, 73, of Shelocta, PA, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Andrew's Village in Indiana.

She was born April 21, 1944 in Sagamore, PA, the daughter of Joseph A. and Alverta O. (Thomas) McCullough.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County and a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ in Gastown. Her favorite hobbies were working in her yard, mowing the grass and growing tomatoes. Mary had many fond memories of trips to the beach with her family and loved anything about Elvis.

Her memory will be cherished by her brother, Earl McCullough and wife, Sue, of Rural Valley; sister, Eleanor McCausland, of Shelocta; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Priscilla Hundley, of Indiana, PA.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ida Erdley.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM until the time of funeral services at 8 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA, with the Rev. Arlene Schweitzer officiating.

Burial will be at Atwood Cemetery, Atwood, PA.
