Joan I. Wolfe

Joan I. Wolfe, 68, of Templeton, PA, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born December 1, 1948 in Templeton, the daughter of Joseph B. Clever, Sr. and Dorothy E. (Adams) Clever.

Joan graduated from East Brady High School in 1966. From November of 1967 until marrying Kenneth A. Wolfe on June 15, 1974, Joan worked as an operator at the Kittanning Phone Company. She was blessed to spend the rest of her married life as a homemaker, caring for those she loved most. Aside from the 14 months from 1979-1980 when her husband's job with Joy Manufacturing took them to Green River, Wyoming, Joan was a lifelong resident of Templeton. During the last 12 years of her marriage, Joan traveled with Kenneth while he worked for Cameron International.

She was of the non-denominational Protestant faith and it was a very important part of her life. Her favorite hobbies were knitting, reading and keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook. Joan was dedicated to her family and will be remembered for being the best possible wife, mother and grandmother.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Keri Beth Wolfe and fiancé, Jason Edward Siekierski, of Templeton, and Kendy Colleen Jennings and husband, Richard James, of Sligo; grandchildren, Robert Dylan Jones, Jillian Abigail Jones, Erin Michelle Jennings, Andrew Kenneth Jennings, Harley Debra Jennings and Madison Grace Wolfe; brothers, Joseph Benjamin Clever, Jr. and wife, Beverly (Croyle), and Lindsey Ronald Clever and wife, Florence (Zydonik), all of Kittanning; sisters, Carolyn Irene (Clever) Wadding and husband, James, of Home, PA, Isabel Lucille Style and husband, John, of Indiana, PA, and Rhoda May Clever, of Montgomery, Alabama; and mother-in-law, Barbara J. Wolfe, of Templeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth A. Wolfe, who died January 9, 2013.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
