James T. "Turney" Richardson

James T. "Turney" Richardson, 70, of Kittanning, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 5, 2017 at his residence.

He was born July 16, 1946 in Kittanning, the son of James H. and Mary (Croyle) Richardson.

Turney was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and served in the Army National Guard. For 44 years he worked as an engineer at Windstream in Kittanning, retiring in 2009. He attended Harvest Community Church. Family was paramount in Turney's life and he especially cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He will be remembered with love by his wife, Linda (Clever) Richardson, whom he married February 24, 1968; sons, Matthew E. Richardson and wife, Jen, of Kittanning, and Jeremy Richardson and wife, Shanan, of Butler; and grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Michael and Alex Richardson.

Turney was preceded in death by his parents.

Relatives and friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Harvest Community Church, 143 Reed Rd., Kittanning, with the Rev. Rodney Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Dayton, PA.
