Robert L. "Bob" Craig, 85, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Clarview Nursing Home.

He was born March 26, 1931 in Rimersburg, the son of Frederick A. and Estella (Swartz) Craig.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Rimersburg and honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a pipe fitter for Indspec in Petrolia and was a former member of the Rimersburg Volunteer Fire Department. Bob was a member of Rimersburg Presbyterian Church, where he served as a past elder. As a Mason, he belonged to the Clarion Masonic Lodge #277, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Coudersport Consistory. Bob was also a life member of the Zem Zem Shriner and was a co-founder of the Zem Zem Shriner Tryke Unit.

He graduated from Union High School and on March 3, 1956, married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jean Bowser. Bob and Betty made a wonderful woodworking pair, with him as the assembler and her as the finisher. Together they made many beautiful pieces for family and friends. His other hobbies included gardening, collecting old bottles and cheering for Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers and Pirates. Bob was known for his generous nature and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Bobbie Lorenz and husband, Ken, Vicki Clark and husband, Ray, and Cheryl Kinnan and husband, Ron, all of Rimersburg; grandchildren, Heather Davis and husband, Richard, Holly Hoare and husband, Joe, Nicholas Lorenz, Travis Lorenz and wife, Dennise, and Jake, Brady, and Kaylin Kinnan; great-grandchildren, Gage Kinnan, Colton Hoare, Layla Lorenz and Braxton Switzer; and brothers, Allen "Doyle" Craig and wife, Martha, of Tennessee, Thomas "Tom" Craig and wife, Faye, of New Bethlehem, and Dale Craig and wife, Trudy, of Rimersburg.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Craig, who passed away March 6, 2011; brothers, Frederick Arland Craig and Ronald Wayne Craig; and infant sister, Beverly K. Craig.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 N. Main Street, Rimersburg, where a Masonic service will be conducted by Masonic Lodge #277 at 4 PM.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Rimersburg Presbyterian Church, 217 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA.

Burial will follow at Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, PA, where military honors will be presented by American Legion Post 454 and VFW Post 7132.
