Sara J. Fulmer

Sara J. Fulmer, 90, of Rural Valley, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Indiana Hospital.

She was born July 15, 1924, in Indiana, PA, the daughter of James and Florence (Helman) O'Hearn.

Sara was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Gastown Lutheran Church. She loved working on crossword puzzles and will be best remembered for her love of playing bingo.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, William C. Graff, of Rural Valley, Edward J. Graff, and Bernard J. Graff and wife, Louise, of Rural Valley; daughter, Barbara J. Hozak and husband, Ron, of Home Station, PA; sister, Margaret Spence, of Creekside; step-sons, William Fulmer, Jr. and wife, Ruth, of Rural Valley, and David Fulmer and wife, Janice, of Creekside; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William S. Graff, who died in 1960; second husband, William Fulmer; grandsons, George Graff and Roger Graff; brother, James O'Hearn; and sisters, Mary Westover, Helen Craig, Ethel Walker and Annabelle Russell.

Relatives and friends may visit from 7-9 PM on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joyce Dix-Weiers officiating.

Burial will follow in Gastown Cemetery, Shelocta, PA.
